Welcome To Three Rivers Homestead
My name is Jessica. I am a homesteading, homeschooling mother of 9, living my dream in Northwestern Ohio.
On our homestead our goal is to raise as much of our own food as possible. We currently grow a variety of fruits and vegetables in our gardens and growing orchard, as well as raising chickens, ducks, and cattle for eggs and meat. We dabble in maple syrup production and beekeeping.
We chose this homesteading lifestyle not only because we enjoy homegrown food, but also because of the values it teaches our children. Farm life is a great compliment to homeschool life, creating countless opportunities to build character and teach life skills to our children. Our backyard is a classroom full of things to learn and experience.
To protect everything we are building here we have four livestock guardian dogs named Leela, Tom “The Doctor” Baker, Harry Sullivan, and Sarah Jane.
